                                   Her heart raced as she clutched her bag closer to her side while looking left and right, she increased her pace. She checked her wristwatch, it was few minutes past 1a.m and she was still on the streets of Lagos. 'How come?' was a question that seemed to be irrelevant at that hour. She shivered with cold because the drizzles had gotten heavier and she still had about 30 minutes walk to her destination, her uncle's house. Her phones were off and she couldn't reach him at least to tell him to come pick her.         Different scenarios of stories she had heard about girls that had been abused and molested at night, but she knew she couldn't stop going even though she wasn't sure of what lies in wait for her, though, she was sure she wasn't alone, God must know about this late journey.
